TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All goods remain the property of Golden Mile Jewellery Manufacturers Pty Ltd returnable on demand until paid for in full. Receipt of a cheque will not be deemed to be payment for goods until such cheque is duly collected.

All goods are accepted by you at your risk and you are liable and responsible to Golden Mile Jewellery Manufacturers Pty Ltd for any loss or damage of or to all or any such goods from any cause whatsoever from the time that such goods are received by you until they are returned to the premises of and received into the actual physical possession of an agent or director of Golden Mile Jewellery Manufacturers Pty Ltd.

All goods are inspected by our Jewellers prior to despatch. If faults are evident, items will be replaced provided we are notified within seven days of delivery. If no replacement is available a credit will be issued. If a fault should develop due to faulty workmanship or materials then the items will be repaired or replaced at no charge to the customer. Claims will be accepted only at the discretion of Golden Mile.

Exclusions include the following:

Goods repaired by a jeweller NOT in the employment of Golden Mile.
Damage caused by negligence or normal wear and tear.
Goods not manufactured by Golden Mile.
Repairs on items not produced by Golden Mile.

Repairs undertaken outside these guidelines will attract a charge of $60.00 per man hour of part thereof, plus any cost of gold used.

GST (Goods and Services Tax) is applicable to all charges

A 10% restocking fee is charged for goods returned for credit.

Where goods are manufactured to special order and returned for credit, gold content only will be credited.

Trading Terms – All accounts are C.O.D. unless Credit Facilities have been arranged.

At the discretion of Golden Mile Jewellery Manufacturers Pty Ltd, on occasion credit may be granted on the condition that (for example) the first one thousand dollars of purchases be prepaid. Should this be the case, this will be advised in the letter of confirmation.

The customer agrees to Golden Mile Jewellery Manufacturers trading terms and Conditions and guarantees payment of any amount which is now due or owing or which may hereafter become owing at the rate of 2% PER MONTH or part thereof. The customer further personally undertakes to pay all debt and debt collection expenses resulting in a default to pay within the aforementioned credit term.
